W.A.C.E stands for

Women in Action for Community Empowerment

We believe in the tickle-up concept of empowering the woman to develop herself, then her household and eventually the entire community will reap the benefits of this growth/empowerment. We have taught women a number of skills that include;

  • Mushroom growing
  • Rabbit keeping
  • Smart Agriculture
  • Juice production
  • Poultry
  • Waste recyling
  • Value addition
  • ICT

In addition, we also teach them financial literacy and entrepreneurship so that they can successfully run and manage their businesses.
